This might have been a library student worker, but almost certainly not a librarian. We'd get fired for talking like that to a patron.

If they mean the bar then why is the employee referred to as "Librarian"? Are the bar employees are actually called librarians?

If so then for the sake of clarity the "@" should be more specific. If the bar employees are not normally referred to as librarians then we have to assume this occurred in a real library.
